Midalidare Merlot/Cabernet Franc 2020 750ml (Midalidare Estate)
This Midalidare Merlot/Cabernet Franc is 75% merlot and 25% cabernet franc and is from the Thracian Valley in Bulgaria.
The color is an intense, dark ruby red color with light red highlights. It has an attractive fruity nose with a pronounced spice nuance, fine oak, vanilla, and chocolate tone and a bouquet of fruity aromas of ripe cherries, plums, mulberries, blueberries, and raisins.
The palate offers elegant, full-bodied and perfectly balanced, well-integrated tannins, with refreshing ripe berries, raisins, and aromatic spices. This wine reveals a very long, spicy finish and a memorable fruity aftertaste. ABV 14%
Food pairing: Excellent pairing for roasted red meat (beef, lamb), pork, duck, and poultry; turkey with cranberry; pasta; roasted vegetables; goat cheese, Camembert, Feta; mushrooms.
