Žatecký Světlý Ležák is a Czech-style pilsner brewed in Poland according to a recipe created by Tomas Lejsek, a well-known Czech brewmaster. This recipe is distinctive because of the use of unique hops from Žatec, Poland. It gives the beer a mildly bitter taste and a well-balanced aroma. This beer pours a crystal clear burnished gold color with a thick pillowy white head that lingers for a moment and then slowly collapses until just a thin film of foam remains on the beer. The aroma offers notes of sweet bread, honey, mineral water, straw and fresh cut grass. The taste is crisp with a spiciness remaining after each sip and a nice earthy sweetness. ABV 5%
